Sorry it has taken me a few days to post this. We've been a little busy. Tyler Oneil Price was born Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 5:29 pm. He weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. It was a rough time but I made it through. We went to the hospital at 6am and they started the pitocin by 7:00. My doctor came and broke my water at 7:40 and I started really feeling the contractions by 8:00 and by 9:30 I decided I needed the epidural. I was fully dilated by the time they checked me @ 1:45. Tyler was still pretty high up so I went for another hour having contractions to see if he would drop. At 2:45 the nurse decided that it was time for me to start pushing. I pushed for 2 1/2 hours and she told me that I would probably have to have a cesarean because after 2 hours his head should be right there. My doctor got there at a little after 5:00 and had me push one time. She said that if she used the vacuum she thought we could get him out. Sure enough it worked! The only problem was that his arm came out with his head so I had some tearing. Other than that all was well.
It's such an amazing experience to bring a child into this world. We love our little boy so much. Sometimes I just look at him and don't ever want to put him down. On the other hand, I would like to get a little sleep.

I don't know if you can tell, but he has huge feet. :)

Such a precious little boy. It's amazing to think that five days ago he was inside me. I'm so happy that he has finally joined our family.

Yea! We're so happy to have Tyler in our family. Kaylee smiled when she saw the pictures. She keeps walking around the house saying "baby". It will be fun seeing them grow up together.

I'm so happy for you!!! I've been waiting for pix where you can actually see his face....Like we want to see anybody else! j/k. He is adorable. What a little boy. How fun!!! I'm glad everything turned out ok. TTYS. We are hopefully going to be out there the end of July for a couple of days.. utah for sure but we are still contemplating CALI. I'll keep you posted.
