We're Back in Business!

After a LONG break from blogging I've decided to give it another shot.  Every time I would try to upload pictures my internet would die so I decided it wasn't for me.  I've recently started a new venture: "The Spunky Little Monkey"  I love to make things and find it very therapeutic so I started an Etsy shop selling my hair accessories.  Since I don't have a daughter to put them on I needed something to do with them.  My friend convinced me to start a blog for that & I haven't had any problems with that yet so since Tyler is actually taking a nap today I decided to try a post. I realized how long it had been & thought I had better break it in two.
Summer Fun!
We spent Tyler's second birthday at Disneyland
At California Adventure they had a water section & he pretty much spend a majority of the time there.
It took him a little while to warm up to it but after watching all of the other kids getting wet he had a blast!
Tyler had a Handy Manny party & here's the cake I made.  I made all of the tools out of Fondant. (A couple of them didn't make it onto the cake since they didn't meet my standards).
Chowing down.  I didn't get many pictures that didn't involve movement so this is the best I got.
Cooling off on a HOT summer day.
This was his first time with a water gun & he kept spraying himself in the face.
 See what I mean?
 Playing at the park!
His first skinned knees.  (CUTE little legs).
 Shaving with my eyelash curler.
This is his routine with Daddy every Sunday morning.
Took a try at potty training.  I think he went twice but decided he wasn't ready yet.
Tyler being patriotic on the Fourth of July
Watching fireworks for the first time at Vets Stadium.
We tried to get a family picture at my parents' house one day.  I don't think we were very successful.
 Lounging in a Scentsy box.
In a bounce house at Pat's cousin's house.
We went to Utah this summer to visit some of y family.
Some of the group.  Does anyone see mini Kim?
A picture with Mommy after bath time.
 The COLDEST water EVER!!
Tyler took a spill at my cousin's parents' house & made his first visit to the ER.  Luckily he healed really quickly & didn't have any scarring. He was such a good boy & was back to his normal self the next day.  I, on the other hand, was so traumatized that I spent the whole night throwing up.
We left a day early & drove down to Brian Head to stay at this cabin with my mom & dad for a couple of days.
I just had to buy these jammies for Tyler since he was such a Tough Guy.
 On his first hike.
On our way to go fishing.
 The matching fishermen.
Isn't that the cutest little face ever?
 Pat's fish he caught.
My second fish...I didn't go close to the first one.  There's no way I would hold the thing though.
I spent the next couple of days doing these puzzles to keep my mind busy after Tyler's incident.
Grandma & Grandpa with the grandkids (and Eddie).
We moved into the house next door to my parents the beginning of September.  This is Tyler's way of helping pack.
 Moving Day!
Tyler, Kaylee & Zackary watching TV in our new house. (I think that lasted about 30 seconds before Tyler & Zackers were off doing other things!)

It's amazing! I actually made it through.  It only took me about 2 hours! Well, Tyler did wake up & I had to give him a snack & find something to entertain him with.  Sorry it's so long but as you can see, we had a very busy summer.  The rest of the year was pretty much boring so the next post will probably be much shorter!

Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've decided that I don't have the patience for this whole blogging thing!  I can never get the pictures to move where I want them to so they're all out of order.  So anyways...here are some pics of our Springtime: Disneyland with Tyler's friend, Mia, the zoo for Kaylee's 3rd Birthday, Kaylee's Birthday, and Tyler and Daddy riding their new "motorcycle".  I'm leaving it up to you to figure out the order. :)

Tyler's Stats

I took Tyler for his checkup a few weeks ago & here are his stats: 33" tall and 27 pounds. He's in the 50-75th percentile for his weight and 75th for height. Pretty good considering his weight got all the way down to the 25th around his birthday. He's quite the little pig these days. His favorite foods are: cereal, blueberries, and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. He does NOT like anything green (except peas), potatoes, or ground meat of any sort. He talks ALL day long whether to himself or anyone who will listen. I don't know where he got that. Must be from his dad. ;) The doctor asked me if he could say between 7 & 20 words. I just laughed. That morning he counted to 8 all by himself. He can actually count to 10 now!He also knows the colors pink, red, orange (oran), yellow(yeddow), green (geen), blue (bee-ooh), purple (pupple), black (back), brown (bown) & white. I don't know what other colors are left! In case you didn't catch that, the words in parenthesis are his pronunciations. His favorite things to do are play with any kind of balls, cars, trucks, airplanes, etc. Such a little boy. He's getting really good at giving big hugs & kisses and he tells me that he loves me everyday. I don't even have to ask anymore! I love this little guy so much that I just can't put it into words. I'm so blessed that he is my son because he's just the perfect little companion for me. We have so much fun together and I'm grateful to be his Mommy.

You get the point, right?

For now I officially give up on re-positioning these pictures so they are TOTALLY out of order but you can take a look at them anyways.
Tyler loves to "fly"
Visiting with Pat's family the day after Christmas
The best family picture we got on Christmas morning. We were looking in different directions in every one.
Grandma & Grandpa with all the grandkids.
I bought this cute little table & chair set for Tyler & he LOVES it.
Christmas day with two of my cousins.
Riding Grandma's new Rocking Horse.
Tyler liked to put the bows on top of his head. Who cares what's inside!Christmas Eve opening jammies from Grandma.
We got to go to the Staples Center & sit in one of the suites to see Disney on Ice. One of our vendors at work gave us the tickets for free. That's Tyler's little friend Mia from work.Mickey in his car.
The Lion King.Just a cute pic of Tyler sitting on a big boy chair.
We went to Disneyland for Pat's birthday in December. I absolutely loved this picture I took of the castle all lit up. Waiting for Small World. Doesn't Tyler look like he's about had enough sensory overload?
Driving Mickey's house in Toon Town. Tyler wasn't quite sure what to think about Mickey Mouse in person. He did finally say bye to him. I think he was just relieved to get out of there.
Tyler & Kaylee made Gingerbread Christmas Trees one day. How messy do you think that was? Here's our frosted tree. Look at that face...doesn't it just say,"Mmmmmmm. I think I should just dig in now!"He waited long enough for me to start putting "ornaments" on and then he just went for it. This was his first (and only) taste of M&Ms. He ate all that were on his side of the tree in about one minute! I figured one time wouldn't kill him. Then he started reaching for Kaylee's & that didn't go over as well.
What a messy face!TWO frosting faces! But they had so much fun so it didnt' matter that Tyler's hands were dyed green for a day. :)
Here's Tyler ANXIOUSLY waiting to go sit on Santa's lap. He looks excited, right?
WRONG!!!!! Maybe next year. (Anybody recognize this Santa Clause?)
Santa's elves gave Tyler thes antlers & I made Pat be a good sport long enough for a quick shot.

Mia gave Tyler this cool airport for Christmas. It has this little road with a ramp and Tyler thought it was the perfect place for all of his cars. Pretty smart, don't you think?
Ok....I told you it was a little out of order. Thanks for bearing with me if you made it this far!
