24 Weeks!

Yeah! We've made it 24 weeks! That means we're 60% of the way there. Not that we're counting or anything. Actually, I am...I have a countdown on the refrigerator. It's been almost three weeks since I've had any spotting. Thank goodness! I'm going on Wednesday to have the glucose test done. I'm not really looking forward to that.
Here's my LOVELY picture from yesterday. Look how big Tyler is getting. He is moving around a lot these days. Pat was starting to think he didn't like him though because he wouldn't kick for him, but yesterday he kicked for him a few times. He was just a little shy.
So this is what I've been doing for the last couple of months. I made this little hooded afghan, blanket and hat. Now I'm in the process of making two more. I'm making a gray one for Pat and another little blue and white striped one.

Here are a few of our purchases we've made over the past month. We were at Wal-Mart buying a new vacuum and paper shredder and we decided to look at their baby clothes. We both spotted these at the same exact time and couldn't resist. The little one in the middle will go perfectly with the booties we have!

I went to Carter's on Saturday and bought this little outfit for church.
I must admit that I was wrong before when I thought that they didn't make very many cute boy clothes. I seem to be having no problem finding lots of things I like. This little boy is going to have so many clothes! Oh well. There's nothing wrong with that.

Now Introducing...

Sorry I haven't posted in so long. There hasn't been much exciting going on. This weekend we started moving around our furniture in our bedroom to try and make room for a crib. I don't know that we were very successful but I do like the way it looks now. Maybe by the time we need a crib we'll have a two bedroom apartment. We're on a waiting list for a downstairs one in our building. The baby will be in a bassinet for a couple of months anyways. Here is a picture of me from last week (19 weeks). My 20 week picture was too ugly to post on here. I stayed in bed all day because I had some spotting three times last week.

We went and had our ultrasound done today. Here are some pictures.

Here is a front view of the face

This one has a hand in front of the eye. This is what makes it a boy!!! Here are a few profile views.

The lady said he was very photogenic. I think he gets that from his dad. He was moving around a lot during the ultrasound. She said she thought she woke him up. We've decided on the name Tyler Oneil Price. I think that has a great ring to it. We are very excited and already did some shopping today. Good old Target! I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow so my docotor can look over the results. We don't know why I am still having spotting. Being pregnant is so stressful!

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!

I was trying to post this last week, but I just didn't get around to it. Last weekend we finally put out our Christmas decorations. We bought a tree the week before but five days later it was pretty much dead, so we had to go buy a new one. Luckily we hadn't decorated it yet. The one we came home with was much bigger than the previous one, but it is beautiful! One of my favorite parts of Christmas is my tree. I usually don't let Pat help me, but I just wasn't feeling up to doing it all this year so he was a big help. Not only did he help with the tree, but he put out all the rest of our decorations that day. So here are some pictures of our decorations.

Sunday was Pat's 26th birthday, so what better to do than build gingerbread houses!?! He is such a good sport. This was really more for me than him because I had never built one before and Rebecca and I decided it would be a fun thing to do. Pat said I should have bought him his own because I pretty much took over once the building part was over. I think he enjoyed it.

Here is the finished project!
We finally figured out how to use the timer on our camera so we could take a picture of all of us.
This is the first thing that I have bought for our baby. I couldn't resist when I saw them at the store. I knew Pat would like them. I figure that they will work for a boy or a girl. She will just need a dress to match them. I hope our baby grows up to like the 49ers or else daddy just won't be happy!

Our Big Announcement

Well, the news is finally out...we are expecting our first baby! I am 13 weeks along right now. Our baby's due date is June 8th. We are very excited and I am a little relieved that the news is out. Now my mom doesn't have to worry about spilling the beans. I know she has just been dying to tell everyone. The reason we wanted to wait is that I was having some problems weeks 5 through 8. We just decided to wait until we went to a couple more appointments. We had one this afternoon and we listened to the baby's heartbeat for the first time. That was pretty cool. It was beating 147 times per minute! Crazy, isn't it? The doctor said everything is looking fine still. What a relief. Here is a picture of the ultrasound we had done four weeks ago. It truly is amazing that this is a human being...only 26mm!

Here We Are

Well, we decided it was about time to start our own blog. First of all, I would like to let everyone know that I let Pat pick our blog name. I couldn't think of anything, so I went to him. There's not much that goes with Price, so here we are, The Price Club! I'm not sure how I feel about that, but that's okay. This is just my test post, because I don't really have any idea what I'm doing. I've had this cold for the past four days, so I'm just trying to pass the time while I'm sitting in bed.
